- A few weeks ago I got an account at my university and installed AmiTCP 3.0b
- and PPP with *no* problems at all. Now I can telnet, ftp and www, and it
- works fine.
-
- But my university also offers something called POP-mail. I assume this is a
- protocol to get my mail and read it, as well as to as send mail myself.
-
- This is the info I got:
-
- POP Mail server: student-pop.cs.ruu.nl
- POP Login ID: wsldanke@student-pop.cs.ruu.nl
- Reply domain: cs.ruu.nl
- Mail gateway: relay.cs.ruu.nl
- News server: news.cs.ruu.nl
-
- My question is: *exactly* what software do I need to use this POP stuff and
- how do I set it up? (Lengthy stories please, I know enough about the AmigaOS
- but almost nothing about things like TCP/IP, etc). Oh, and I have a
- preference for MUI, if that makes any difference.
